How to use this chart (Daily framework, not a macro indicator)
This chart is a daily decision framework built around STAD (Short Term Accumulation & Distribution).
It’s designed to highlight when short-term participants flip between loss-selling (capitulation) and
profit-taking (distribution). Use it for daily/weekly context and spot-position management — not as a
“macro cycle” top/bottom caller.
What you’re looking at
- Top panel: BTC price (context).
- Bottom panel: STAD (the signal engine).
- Zone rails: green line = buy-zone boundary, red line = sell-zone boundary.
The “0 line” concept (the pivot)
The white baseline at 1.00 is the key pivot (think of it like a “0 line” for behavior):
- Above 1.00: short-term holders are selling in profit → can develop into distribution.
- Below 1.00: short-term holders are selling at a loss → can develop into accumulation.
Green zone (Buy / Accumulation)
When STAD enters the green zone (below the green boundary), it often reflects short-term
capitulation / forced selling. This is why the region is treated as a spot accumulation area.
- Best used for scaling into spot (not chasing pumps).
- Think: “weak hands are paying the pain tax — I’m building.”
Red zone (Sell / Distribution)
When STAD enters the red zone (above the red boundary), short-term profit-taking is dominant.
This is why the region is treated as a distribution / take-profit area.
- Best used for trimming, de-risking, tightening stops.
- Think: “profit tax is being collected — I take what the market gives.”
The circles (no hovering needed)
The chart prints circles automatically at the exact moment STAD ENTERS each extreme zone:
- Green circles = buy-zone entry (accumulation signal).
- Red circles = sell-zone entry (distribution signal).
- Circles appear on both the STAD panel and the BTC price panel for instant context.
Simple playbook
- Green circle prints: scale into spot / build position in layers.
- STAD around 1.00: neutral / wait for confirmation.
- Red circle prints: scale out / protect profits / reduce risk.
Note: This is not financial advice. STAD highlights short-term participant behavior; always combine with risk management.
